Palpa Bhagawati Sindur Jatra

Bhagawati Jatra at Palpa is one of the biggest Jatra of the western part of Nepal. It is celebrated on the next day of Krishna Janmastami. This Jatra was started in 1873 by Ujir Singh. In this time Nepal and British war was held in 5 places but Nepal is own in only one place at Gitgadhi (Near to Butwal) on this occasion he started Palpa Bhagawati Sindur Jatra and it is continued till now. It is a great moment for Palpali people.
