Gosaikunda Festival / गोसाइँकुण्ड मेला

Every August, on the day of the Full Moon, numerous Buddhist and Hindu devotees make their way to Lake Gosaikunda to pay homage to Lord Shiva and immerse themselves in the sanctified waters of the revered lake. During this time, “Dhami-Jhankris” shamans engage in their sacred dances and recite holy mantras as part of their religious rituals.
